Republicans Seek Public’s Input on Ethics Reform
(Mount Juliet) – State Representatives Susan Lynn (R-Mt. Juliet), welcomes concerned citizens to attend an important community meeting to receive input on state ethics issues at Mount Juliet City Hall, on Tuesday, August 23rd.
As part of a House GOP listening tour, our local Representative will address the ethics cloud that is hanging over state government and seek community input. Lynn will be joined by several of her colleagues from the Tennessee House of Representatives, including Rep. Beth Harwell, Rep. Glen Casada and Rep. Debra Maggart. The House GOP listening tour is canvassing the state to hear comments from citizens on state ethics issues and Mt. Juliet is the third stop on their tour.
The House Republican Ethics Task Force has been meeting since the first of this year. Their mission is to create legislation to strengthen our state’s ethics laws. They want to hear the concerns of Tennesseans from across our state and inform the public of their legislative work.
